BACKGROUND Transfection, the introduction of DNA into cells, is a powerful technique used to study in vivo gene function and regulation. The Cytofect™ Cell Line Transfection kit is a plasmid DNA delivery system specifically optimized to deliver DNA into a wide variety of cell lines. This kit contains Cytofect™ 2 and Media for transfection and culturing cells. The result has been high transfection efficiency and viability for cell lines.
 
The Cytofect™ Cell Line Transfection Kit contains all the necessary reagents and media for transfection. Optimal transfection protocols are provided in the kit to carry out successful transfection of the following cell lines with high efficiency (40%-90%) and viability (80%-95%): 
  • CHO
  • HEK293
  • HeLa
  • MCF7
