Canine Marrow Stromal Cells (CnMSC) are derived from canine bone marrow and are cryopreserved at second passage. CnMSC can be propagated 10 population doublings. In addition to supporting hematopoietic cells1,2, marrow stromal cells can be induced to differentiate into cells of various tissues, including bone3,4,5,6, podocytes7, smooth muscle cells8,9, and neural cells10. The multipotent potential of CnMSC provides new avenues for cell-based therapy11,12.
